Brad T. Rutledge
As a founding member of CXO Vantage, Brad Rutledge is a firm believer in the outsource executive concept & the value this team approach can deliver to an organization of any size. Brad is a strong team-player, able to seamlessly integrate into existing organizations and projects, has an uncanny vision for current and future market trends, and enjoys taking initiative to address problems and opportunities head-on. Beyond his skills in all aspects of marketing communications, branding, market research and product marketing, one of Brad’s greatest strengths is his passion and commitment. In addition to CXO Vantage, Brad is also CEO of Rutledge Consulting Group (RCG), a strategic outsource marketing firm with the depth to provide services ranging from graphic design and events, to PR, social media marketing and online marketing services. During his career, Brad has successfully worked with more than 30 clients on a broad range of marketing projects, including large organizations like Dell, The Home Depot and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, to smaller early phase start-up technology and consumer-based companies and even government entities. Brad leverages his various client experiences with each new challenge or opportunity presented to him.
Prior to forming Rutledge Consulting Group in 2006, Brad was vice president of marketing at Linux Networx, where he was responsible for driving the international marketing strategy, building a powerful brand image and growing company revenue. His creative and effective marketing programs established the company as a leader in the high performance computing (HPC) industry, helping the company grow from about $1 million in sales to more than $60 million in under six years. He has a thorough understanding of new product strategies and has developed proven marketing analysis and communications techniques to help companies grow and succeed. Brad has a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications from Idaho State University, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in technology commercialization from Westminster College.

As a seasoned executive at both large, publically-traded companies, as well as high-growth start-ups, Dean brings with him the depth and breadth to help companies address a variety of opportunities and challenges. Dean’s ability to understand and successfully administrator a variety of business functions is reflected in some of the job titles he has held, including company president, chief financial officer (CFO), chief operating officer (COO), and certified public accountant (CPA). Dean leverages his experience today as a C-level consultant, and continues to help put together winning teams and products and taking those products to the marketplace.
Dean started his career as a CPA with Deloitte and Touche, and soon was gaining valuable expertise managing as the CFO of Ion Laser Technology (ILT), a publicly held company. At ILT, Dean oversaw the sales, marketing and finance departments, helping grow the company’s revenues by more than 10 times and managing the company’s acquisitions and growth into Europe and Asia. He also had ILT listed on the AMEX exchange and increased the stock price and market capitalization by over 20 times. Next Dean worked at Novell managing the company’s $200 million marketing budget for several years. One of Dean’s most rewarding experiences came from Linux Networx, a technical computing hardware and software company that Dean helped grow from $4 million to more than $60 million in revenue in about five years. Dean was involved with nearly every aspect of the company’s growth, from its fund-raising efforts of about $100 million, to its customer relationships with some of the largest companies in the world, including Boeing, GM, Audi, Volkswagen, Shell Oil, Toyota, as well as universities and the DOD and DOE. After leaving Linux Networx in 2006, Dean became the managing member of two large property development projects in Idaho and Wyoming, and today, utilizes his expertise as an executive-level consultant. Today, Dean consults full time dealing with solving problems and helping his clients realize opportunities ranging from fund raising to licensing to the creation of corporate structure and the development of go-to-market strategies.

Robbie Chidester, CPA
Robbie Chidester has been a CFO consultant since April 2006. He brings over 20 years of financial management and leadership in high-growth and technology driven entities. Chidester is a proven leader in firms ranging in size from pre-revenue start-up to over $100M in annual revenue. As audit manager for international accounting firm KPMG, he established himself as a specialist in corporate compliance, public reporting, M&A/IPO support, due diligence, business transformation/turn-around services and management consulting. Later, as the full-time chief financial officer for various entities, Chidester added significant value in such industries as technology, manufacturing and distribution services. Chidester has played the lead financial role for emerging businesses in technology, web community hosting, SEO/lead generation, commercial services, wholesale consumer products, retail, network marketing and real estate development – helping place over $200M in debt and equity funding. He has supervised financial teams ranging in size from small, hands-on start-up groups to a diverse, international team of over 40 people located on four continents. He is an expert in strategic modeling, investor/bank relations and value creation.
Chidester is a licensed, certified public accountant. He holds a B.A. honors degree in accounting from the University of Utah.
